Is the Bay City Health clinic a friendly place?

We hope so! When we opened the doors to the Bay City Health clinic, one of our main aims was to create a place and an environment where people could come to move their body, smile and feel like they belong to an awesome community of like minded people. Do you need a referral from a GP to book in with an Osteopath?

You don't need a referral from a GP to see an Osteopath for treatment. Simply make a booking with one of our Osteopaths and they will take you through a patient medical history, full assessment, as part of an Initial Consultation.

This doesn't mean that Osteopaths can't receive referrals. Many GP's do refer clients to Osteopaths for treatment as well as pain management programs (EPC/TCA).

However, this does not affect the ability to claim with Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Exercise Physiologists who may use Pilates equipment and exercises as part of their management and treatment of clients.
